Vicky & Steve Wedding:
On the 24th December, Vicky finally tied the knot with Steve, her long term partner of seven years.
With a service at Shipbourne Parish Church, no more than a mile from the stables, the whole day went superbly. Vicky was taken to the church, along
with son's James and Arthur, in a horse drawn carriage provided by good friend Cathy. The forty odd guest were treated to Steve giggling through his
vows and Vicky making her vows to a Christmas tree! The wedding service was
followed by the christening of Arthur, and many thanks to the vicar, Andrew
Procter, for making the whole thing go without hitch (other than the obvious marital hitch!).
Following the service, the bride, groom and guests moved next door to a fantastic reception at the Chaser Inn. Everyone commented on the quality of
food and the refreshing casual nature of the whole event.
After the days proceedings, there was open house back at Silverhill Cottages. And of course
preparation for the big day to follow, Christmas Day.
